1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

These terms apply when you use www.needleworktours.com.au (the “website”), which is run by Needlework Tours Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website.

2. USING OUR WEBSITE

You’re welcome to browse the website, read about our tours, register your interest, sign up to our newsletter and make bookings. When you use the website, please don’t:

• use it for anything unlawful, misleading or fraudulent;
• send us false information, or make a booking in someone else’s name without their permission;
• try to break into, overload or disrupt the website or its systems, or upload viruses or harmful code; or
• use automated tools to copy or collect content or data from the website.

3. TOUR INFORMATION AND PRICES

We take care to keep tour descriptions, itineraries, dates, tutors and prices accurate and up to date. Tours are planned well ahead, though, so details can change and mistakes can happen. Photos are there to show the style of a tour and may not show the exact places, rooms or projects on your departure. If we find an error in a price or description, we’ll let you know before we take your booking or as soon as we can afterwards.

4. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

Our Booking Terms and Conditions apply to every booking made through this website. Please read them before you book.

Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) or US dollars (USD). You pay in the currency you book in. Your bank or card provider may charge its own fees for overseas or foreign-currency payments, which we don’t control.

Card payments are handled by a secure third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

5. OUR CONTENT

The text, photos, logos, designs and other material on this website belong to us or to the people who have allowed us to use them, including our tutors and photographers. You may view, print or share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or reuse our content, including any stitching designs or project images, without our written permission.

6. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

The website may link to other websites, such as hotels, venues, airlines or travel insurers. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

7. YOUR PRIVACY

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information when you use the website, contact us or make a booking.

8. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. We use as few as possible. At present we use:

• Currency preference (essential): a cookie called “nwt-currency” remembers whether you chose to see prices in Australian or US dollars. It lasts for one year.
• Location (essential): our hosting provider, Vercel, uses your IP address to work out which country you’re browsing from, so we can show the right currency the first time you visit. This doesn’t set a cookie, and we don’t store your location.
• Secure payments (essential): when you pay a deposit or balance, our payment provider, Stripe, sets its own cookies to process the payment securely and help prevent fraud. Stripe’s privacy policy explains how it uses this information, which may be processed outside Australia.

We don’t currently use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies. If we add any in future, we’ll update this list.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the website will still work, but it may not remember your currency choice, and payments may not go through.

9. OUR LIABILITY

We work hard to keep the website available, secure and free of errors, but we can’t promise it always will be. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the website or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
